What is digital Thermal Imaging?

A picture is worth a thousand words! Since dogs suffer in silence. Many times, we don't know where to focus our attention. Our patients cannot talk. So, we give them a voice with DTI. These non-invasive cameras provide us with a physiological picture allowing the images to speak for them. By detecting radiant heat and converting external body temps into different color palettes. Our cameras allow us to see inflammation or problems with circulation in your dog’s body. We can now see the unseen. Digital Thermal Imaging allows us to visualize EXACTLY where your dog may be suffering from Joint inflammation, muscle tears, tendon and ligament injury, arthritis, soft tissue trauma, toe injuries, etc. This is a 100% safe, no contact, non-invasive tool that emits no radiation. We can now custom tailor a bodywork technique specifically for your pet.

How does Laser Therapy work?

When we apply the laser directly over the injured area, the wavelength lasers have the ability to penetrate the skins layer.

Our class III lasers use MLS technology which features a mix of both 650nm diodes as well as 808nm. The 650nm laser diodes penetrates about a quarter inch below the skins level to treat superficial skin lesions, acupuncture points, and fungal infections. While 808nm infrared diodes penetrate up to two inches below the skin level to treat deep tissues like tendons, muscles, and joints.

We also have class IV devices producing 980nm cutting the treatment times in half the time of our class III devices.

Whether your pet is struggling with post-surgical pain or they’re simply getting older, laser therapy can help them live their very best life. Treatments are relatively quick and can be easily integrated with traditional medical procedures and other holistic practices like acupuncture, hydrotherapy, and massage.
